A signature element of our presentation is Annie’s Gourmet Artisan Breads & Crackers, an exclusive line created specifically for Annie’s Gourmet Catering in collaboration with our longtime friends at Dress the Drink (DTD Vegas). These fresh-baked breads and crackers are designed to complement both flavor and presentation and are served with our beloved Annie’s signature olive tapenade, adding warmth, aroma, and visual beauty to every table.
To further elevate the experience, we feature a curated selection of premium flavored balsamic vinegars and olive oils from Spirits & Spice, offering top-shelf flavors that enhance each bite and bring unexpected depth to the dining experience.

Chef Annie Payton, CPCE Emeritus
Chef Annie Payton, CPCE Emeritus, has spent decades building a career rooted in hospitality, tradition, and genuine care for the people she serves. Her work in catering, special events, and restaurant kitchens has been recognized both nationally and locally, reflecting a long-standing commitment to quality, creativity, and consistency. Most recently, Annie’s Gourmet was honored once again as Best of Las Vegas 2025 for Charcuterie and Catering, an acknowledgment made possible by the continued support of the Las Vegas and Henderson communities.
Annie’s love of cooking extends beyond events and restaurants. She recently appeared on a live cooking series with EatThis.tv, where she shared many of her signature dishes — including her well-known stuffed mushrooms, olive tapenade, heirloom tomato salad, and comforting Italian classics.
With a second season in development, Annie has also published her first cookbook memoir, "Memories Are Made Around the Dinner Table," a heartfelt tribute to her mother and business partner, Connie,
affectionately known as Grandma Cungie.
Throughout her career, Annie has remained deeply connected to her community and has been humbled to be named one of Nevada’s Distinguished Women, an honor that reflects not only professional success but a dedication to service and mentorship. Her work has been featured across local and regional media, including live appearances, editorial highlights, and event showcases that celebrate meaningful moments rather than accolades.
Food has always been personal for Annie. Her foundation is old-world Italian cooking, shaped by family recipes passed down through generations. She spent years cooking alongside her mother, Connie, as well as learning from Grandma Ann and her aunts — women who instilled in her the values of hard work, generosity, and pride in doing things the right way. Those lessons continue to guide every menu and every gathering.
While Italian cuisine will always be at the heart of her work, Annie’s passion lies in creating thoughtful menus and presentations tailored to each client, occasion, and vision. Her approach is simple: listen well, cook with intention, and treat every event as if it were family.
Much of Annie’s story is best told not by awards, but by the loyal clients who return year after year — and by the memories made around the table.
